AZmed, a leading company in AI for medical imaging, has partnered with Healthinc, a key distributor of radiology technology in Australia and New Zealand. This collaboration aims to advance the adoption of AI-driven radiology solutions throughout the region.
Since 2002, Healthinc has delivered Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Vendor-Neutral Archives (VNA), and Teleradiology solutions. The addition of AZmed to the Healthinc portfolio strengthens its commitment to providing clinically validated AI tools that assist radiologists by offering a second pair of eyes, enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
“This partnership with Healthinc aligns with our broader mission to drive AI innovation in radiology, ensuring that clinicians worldwide benefit from improved diagnostic accuracy and accelerated workflows,” said Julien Vidal, CEO of AZmed.
AZmed’s Rayvolve® AI Suite has been proven to expedite radiologic readings and improve patient outcomes. FDA and CE-cleared solutions like AZtrauma, AZmeasure, and AZchest are among the suite’s key offerings. In Australia, AZtrauma is currently under review for TGA approval for fracture detection.
“Our partnership with Healthinc is complementary for both companies in driving the deployment of advanced AI in radiology. AZmed’s AI Suite is seamlessly integrated with Healthinc’s RIS, PACS, and VNA systems. Our real strength lies in our ability to integrate with a wide array of systems, tailored to meet diverse operational and clinical needs,” said Shivam Pundir, Director of Strategic Business at AZmed.
“Our latest collaboration with AZmed introduces Rayvolve, a revolutionary AI tool designed specifically for chest and trauma radiology,” said Aaron Glover, Director at Healthinc. “Rayvolve leverages advanced artificial intelligence to automate detection, streamline workflows, and provide radiologists with enhanced diagnostic support. This AI solution not only improves efficiency but also contributes to better healthcare outcomes by supporting more accurate and timely diagnoses.”
